Terms for using The Good Tracker.
Last updated: October 27, 2026. These Terms explain the rules for using The Good Tracker, including account access, local storage, sync, app outputs, integrations, and medical limits.
Important medical disclaimer
The Good Tracker is not a medical device, clinician, diagnosis tool, treatment tool, medication guide, emergency service, or substitute for professional care. App outputs are informational and may be wrong. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using The Good Tracker, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use the service for another person, you represent that you have permission and authority to do so and that you are responsible for that use.
2. What The Good Tracker is
The Good Tracker is a personal symptom, food, medication, activity, wearable-data, notes, and pattern-tracking app. It helps you organize information you choose to enter or connect so you can reflect on it and, if you choose, discuss it with a qualified healthcare professional.
The service is intended for general wellness, personal organization, journaling, and education. It is not designed, cleared, or approved for clinical diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, prevention, monitoring, or cure of any disease or medical condition.
3. No medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency use
The Good Tracker does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication instructions, triage, clinical monitoring, or emergency services.
Do not use The Good Tracker as a substitute for a doctor, clinician, pharmacist, therapist, emergency service, or other qualified professional. Never start, stop, or change medication, supplements, activity, diet, treatment, or care plans based only on the app.
If you may be experiencing a medical emergency or urgent health concern, call emergency services or seek immediate medical care. The Good Tracker is not monitored for emergencies and does not alert clinicians.
4. AI, reports, correlations, and app outputs
Pattern summaries, AI responses, charts, correlations, reminders, reports, exports, and other outputs are informational and descriptive only. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, misleading, or based on too little data.
Cloud voice and Ask stay off until you agree. If you turn them on, a voice recording is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to be transcribed. The check-in text you typed, or the text from that transcription, is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to be structured into a log. A question you ask about your own logs is sent the same way. Food photos and uploaded practitioner documents are also sent to Cloudflare Workers AI when you use AI to process them. Cloudflare does not use Customer Content processed by Workers AI to train AI models. If server transcription is unavailable, browser dictation is handled by your browser's speech service. You can type instead.
App outputs are not clinical findings and should not be treated as proof of causation, diagnosis, safety, medication effectiveness, disability status, insurance eligibility, or treatment need.
You are responsible for reviewing exports and reports before sharing them with healthcare professionals, insurers, employers, caregivers, or anyone else.
5. Your responsibility for health decisions
You are responsible for how you use the information you record and any patterns the app displays. You should review important information with qualified professionals who understand your history and current condition.
You are also responsible for entering accurate information, understanding that missed logs can affect patterns, and deciding what information is appropriate to bring to appointments.
6. Accounts, local storage, sync, and backups
A free account is required to use the app. Setup asks you to sign in. Your logs are saved on this device and sync to your account. Local data can still be lost if browser or device storage is cleared, the device is damaged, browser settings change, or the app is removed.
Account sync is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, immediate, complete, or error-free. Keep your own backup of important records by using the export tools in Settings.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.
7. Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of the notes, logs, photos, voice transcripts, symptoms, medication entries, food entries, wearable data, and other content you add or connect.
You give us permission to process, store, transmit, sync, display, export, analyze, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, improve, and provide The Good Tracker and features you request.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to use or content that violates another person's privacy.
8. Privacy and consumer health data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information and consumer health data. By using the service, you agree that we may handle information as described there.
The Good Tracker is a direct-to-consumer wellness app and is not itself a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. HIPAA usually applies to covered entities and their business associates, not every consumer health app.
If we ever provide the service on behalf of a HIPAA covered entity or as a business associate, that relationship would require separate written terms.
9. Reminders and communications
Reminders, emails, push notifications, and nudges are convenience features only. They are not clinical monitoring, emergency alerts, medication reminders from a clinician, or proof that a health task is safe or required.
You are responsible for confirming time zones, notification settings, and whether reminders are appropriate for your circumstances.
10. Integrations and third-party services
Some features may rely on third-party services such as Supabase, Stripe, Oura, Resend, hosting providers, analytics, browser APIs, app stores, or email providers. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for third-party outages, data practices, API changes, billing portals, app store rules, wearable-device accuracy, imported data, or information you authorize a third party to share.
11. Free access
GT is free to use today. Free for everyone.
12. Acceptable use
You may not use The Good Tracker to harm others, violate the law, reverse engineer the service, interfere with security or availability, access another person's account or data, upload unlawful content, scrape the service, or use the app as a regulated clinical system without our written permission.
You may not present app outputs as professional medical advice, verified clinical findings, or a replacement for qualified care.
13. Beta features and changes
Some features are early, experimental, or in beta. We may change, pause, remove, or limit features at any time. We may also update these Terms as the service, laws, providers, or risk profile changes.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will try to provide reasonable notice through the app, website, email, or another practical method.
14. Intellectual property
The service, software, design, branding, copy, workflows, and other materials we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the app or our intellectual property to you.
15. Disclaimers
The Good Tracker is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that the app will identify health patterns, prevent flares, improve symptoms, produce accurate correlations, preserve every record, or meet your medical, legal, insurance, employment, disability, or documentation needs.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Good Tracker and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, health decisions, personal injury, treatment outcomes, missed symptoms, or reliance on app outputs.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim or one hundred US dollars.
17. Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Good Tracker and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of another person's rights.
18. Termination
You may stop using The Good Tracker at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users or the service, failed to pay amounts due, or used the app unlawfully.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including medical disclaimers, ownership, payment obligations, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms, will survive.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the state law that applies to The Good Tracker, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
20. Contact and legal notices
Questions about these Terms, privacy, account access, data deletion, billing status, or legal notices can be sent to support@thegoodtracker.com.
We may send service notices through the app, by email, or by posting an update on the website when that is a practical method for the notice.
